We love apple picking! I have loved picking apples for years, dating back to when I was in Iowa. I think it probably really started with the fruit trees that we had in our back yard growing up. Now it is something I love to do with the kids and it is always better with the cousins! We love this place that is just outside of Blacksburg, Doe Creek Farm. It is closer than Carter Mountain (which we also love) and the apple trees are the perfect height for the kids to pick! We hope to get back again this year.
