Big Boy Bed

Hunter has recently been realizing that he can get out of the beds he sleeps in. It began at Thanksgiving climbing out of the pack-n-play at Barry and Loretta's. He climbed out a few times at Great Wolf Lodge and then once we were back home he climbed out of his crib. We knew it was time to switch over to a big boy bed. He has liked climbing in to Hannah's bed to pretend he is sleeping but we were unsure of how it would go when he had a bed to himself. He is also clearly going to be one that leaves the bed and room! All new territory for us. December 16 was the day that the big boy bed was put up. He went down pretty easily. Ended up out of his bed a couple times during the night but did really well. Walked in to our room at 5:30 in the morning saying "Hi Mommy!" It is now a few days later and he has not slept in it since. We have put him down in it but he keeps getting up. After he gets out of the bed a few times he gets put into his crib. We will try and get him in to his big boy bed permanently at some point!
