Colorado

We just (when I started writing this) got back from our vacation to Colorado. It was great to see my parents and to see other family as well. We primarily went out for my cousin, Joel's, wedding and added some time before the wedding to see my parents. Kristen, Chris, Willow and Owen also were also out there for the wedding and some time after. It was an eventful trip to say the least. I will not put all the details on here but it began with three very smooth flights out. We ended up in the ER with my father which made for a long day. He is now much better which is good after a few days in the hospital.

We had a great time playing in the kiddie pool outside, playing with bubbles, lots of time with Nanna and Grandpa. She did a wonderful job with riding in the car to Golden for the wedding. Really did great sleeping in a number of different places. She did decide to stay on Virginia time the whole time which made for some early mornings (4:30-5)!

We were in Golden for my cousins wedding. We stayed at a house which had horses. Hannah loved the horses. At one point she spit her paci out and it ended up in the horse area!  Oops! Should have attached it. Chad was great and went in after it after we lured the horses to the other end of the pasture. Hannah had so much fun spending time with daddy!

The trip back was eventful in that our last flight back to Roanoke was cancelled. Bummer. Every flight we were put on after that was cancelled as well. We ended up staying in New York for the night. No bags. No new clothes or contacts for me. Luckily we had enough diapers for Hannah!

Hannah has a huge list of firsts on this trip: first plane ride, first bus ride, first tram ride, first ER visit :( at least not for her, first time in a small pool and a bigger pool, first time sleeping somewhere different overnight, first time tasting a Popsicle (not a big fan), first time at 10,000 feet, first wedding, first time seeing horses, first time in New York, first time sleeping in a regular bed. WOW! So many firsts!
