Hunter

So I have not done a specific post on Hunter lately. He is coming up on 22 months in not too long. His vocabulary has exploded and we can understand so much more now. He is doing pretty good learning his colors. The other day we were Skying with Nana and Grandpa and he was bringing us blocks in the color we asked. This afternoon he was doing the same with Chad. He likes to point out colors as well. He is pretty good at using a fork and enjoys using a fork and spoon. Unfortunately with a spoon he will often turn it over, spilling everything on it unless it is sticky (oatmeal).

He also is doing things that Hannah did not do until she was older. Here he is climbing the steps to a slide at a park we go to often. He has been doing this for months but I finally got him on video. He is not afraid of climbing. Including the stairs at the beach. We only had one fall that I can remember. If his sister can do it, so can he! Same with jumping off of things. "Monkey see, monkey do," is a phrase we say often around here because anything that Hannah is doing, Hunter will soon be doing as well. This also creates discussions with Hannah about thinking about what she is doing and setting a good example. Still a little young to process that though.

Hunter is such a happy boy most of the time. He understands directions. Still likes to be independent and wants his way. He is definitely at a fun age. Has recently started coloring more, though he will still eat a crayon or marker or two. Hopefully that will end soon!

Snap Chat fun at the beach

He loves giving kisses now!
